Writing Rules

*There is no requirement for full text.

 

***Our Congress meets the Associate Professorship Criterias. Papers to be presented in congress will be published as full text in the congress e-book if the authors request.

 

*** Papers on prosthetics, orthotics, biomechanics and congress topics will be accepted.

***First, second and third place awards will be given to oral presentations. Documents and awards will be presented to the interested parties at the closing ceremony of the congress.

***The abstracts will be published in the congress e-book with ISBN and in the Journal of Exercise Therapy (JETR) Indexed in TR Index.

 

Abstract Conditions

  • Only oral presentations will be accepted.
  • Abstracts will be sent in both Turkish and English.
  • A participant can submit a maximum of two papers.
  • A participant can present a maximum of two papers.
  • In order for the papers to be included in the congress e-book, at least one of the paper owners must be registered to the congress.
  • Since the congress records are made for a single name, it does not include other names in the paper.
  • Presentation language will be Turkish or English.

 

Abstract Writing Rules

  • The name, surname, institution and city of the authors should be clearly stated in the paper. The ORCID numbers of the authors should be included.
  • Academic titles should not be used in names.
  • Abstracts in both languages should not exceed 250 words.
  • All letters of the abstract title should be capitalized (no abbreviations should be used in the title).
  • English title should be added to the beginning of the English abstract.
  • Turkish abstract: “Amaç”, “Yöntem”, “Bulgular”, “Sonuç” and “Anahtar Kelimeler”,

English abstract: It should include the headings “Purpose”, “Methods”, “Results”, “Conclusion” and “Keywords”.

  • Case summaries should be prepared in a single paragraph without any headings.
  • Abbreviations should be avoided as much as possible in the summary section.
  • Margins should be set as 2.5 cm, font Times New Roman, 12 pt and line spacing should be set as 1.00 cm.

  • Keywords should consist of at least 3 and at most 5 words.
  • Keywords should be selected from the MeSH (Medical Subject Headings, http://www.nlm.nih.gov/mesh/MBrowser.html) list. At the same time, your chosen keywords should be included in the Science Terms of Turkey (http://www.bilimterimleri.com).
  • Turkish abstract and keywords and English abstract and keywords must be exactly the same.

Accepted Papers

  • A decision letter will be sent for the accepted papers.
  • In order for the accepted abstracts to be presented, the owner of the paper who will make the presentation must have registered for the congress.
  • Abstracts which are not presented will not be published in the electronic congress book.

Paper Presantation Rules

  • Oral presentations will be made in Turkish or English.
  • Oral presentations, including discussion, should not exceed 10 minutes.
  • Oral presentations must be checked before time.

Full Text Submission

Full text is not required. If you want to have your full texts published in the congress book, you must send your FULL TEXTS to info@protezortezkongresi2023.org until 30.10.2023 at the latest after your abstract is accepted.

Studies with a similarity rate above 30% in full texts will not be evaluated.

 

Full Text Paper Writing Rules

  • A4 type paper should be chosen for the full text of the paper, 2.5 cm for the top and bottom margins, 3 cm for the left and 2.0 cm for the right margins.
  • The title of the paper should be centered on a line 2.5 cm from the top of the page. The title should be 12-pt Times New Roman and bold.
  • It should be written in Times New Roman, 12 pt and 1.5 line spacing, no spaces should be left between paragraphs. Paragraphs should be justified, no indentation should be used.
  • Articles should be written in Turkish or English.
  • The full text of the paper should be 4-10 pages long with all its elements.
  • Tables, graphics and figures should be numbered.
  • Table and captions should be 9 pt.
  • Page numbers should not be added.
  • The plagiarism report with the full text should also be sent via e-mail.

The full text format of the papers should be prepared according to the following rules:

  • TURKISH TITLE

(English Title)

  • ABSTRACT (Turkish)

־ The abstract should be a maximum of 250 words, 12 pt Times New Roman, 1.15 line spacing and italic.

־ Keywords: There should be a minimum of 3 and a maximum of 5 keywords.

  • ABSTRACT (English)

־ The summary should be no more than 250 words long, 12 pt size, Times New Roman, 1.15 spaced and italic)

־ Key words: Its should be minimum 3 or maximum 5 words.

  • INTRODUCTION

־ Writing the full text should start with the “Introduction” section and continue with the subheadings. Subheadings should be italicized, bold and left aligned. One line space should be left between headings and text, and tables and figures.

  • The full text of the research papers should include ‘1. Introduction, 2. Method, 3. Findings, 4. Discussion, Conclusion and 5. References’ after the Abstract and Abstract sections. References should be numbered in the order they appear in the text.
  • The source text should be written as follows according to the “Vancouver” system.
